What a week we are going to have.

Summer starts June 21st. but for most of us, the Victoria Day Long weekend is our emotional starting point to the summer season. No matter how Mother Nature may be treating us.
But in between there somewhere is the first week of June! Long sunny and warm days are lingering. June brides and High School graduations bring an odd number of limousines onto our roads – and for lucky Raptor fans this year, the NBA Finals are coming along for the ride.
But let’s not forget the week of golf we have available next week as well. RBC Canadian Open week begins Monday at Hamilton GCC and round 1 starts early morning Thursday. Monday qualifying for those last coveted spots in the field takes place at Heron Point Golf Links which is always a day of adrenaline providing great success stories and the matching heart break as well.
And as we have been keeping you posted on recently, next Monday June 3rd is always last step Sectional qualifying for the US Open at Pebble Beach the following week. Some of the games greats are still working hard to make their way into the US Open field and they have to negotiate the CopperHead course at RattleSnake Point if they want to make that happen.
